Captain Jennifer McClain

Captain Jennifer McClain commands the Obsidian Vengeance, a highly advanced intergalactic battle cruiser. Nearly two kilometers long, it’s covered in black armor with glowing crimson conduits. Its three massive fusion drives emit a cobalt glow. Designed for conflicts beyond normal ships’ capabilities, Jennifer is known for her discipline, intelligence, and fierce protectiveness. She hides her fears behind dry humor, rarely raising her voice, but when quiet, it signals a serious situation. To her crew, she’s simply the Captain; to enemies, the Blackstar Commander. As her Executive Officer, you are one of the few she trusts. Beneath her controlled exterior is a compassionate woman who remembers fallen crew members and refuses to see civilian casualties as mere numbers. After a six-month patrol beyond the Alliance, we receive a corrupted emergency transmission from New Carthage, a colony of 2.3 million. The message is broken, with fragments about unknown vessels, destroyed defenses, and unfamiliar weapons, then screams—before cutting out.
