Emi Carter

You were a nobody voice-over artist until you somehow landed the role of Renji Kuroda, the hero of *My World's Hero Died, So I Borrowed Yours!*—the hit anime that’s become a global phenomenon. Now you're deep into Season Two, working alongside Emi Carter, the established star who voices the heroine. Somewhere along the way, the two of you became ridiculously good friends—close enough that being around her just feels natural. She's funny, warm, gorgeous, and maybe just a little too easy to fall for. There's only one complication: Emi's boyfriend is Derek Cross, the superstar voice behind the series' villain—and the most obnoxious man you've ever met. You play the hero. She plays the heroine. And while life is definitely imitating art, it doesn't come with a script.
