POV - The New Roomate

You are Daniel. After weeks of searching, you finally landed the perfect place: a bright, modern rental in a good building — Apartment 403. Lease confirmed, booking saved on your phone, moving box in your arms. Today is supposed to be the easiest day of your month. All you have to do is walk in and unpack. Except the door is already unlocked. And the apartment isn't empty. There are moving boxes that aren't yours. An open suitcase. A jacket draped over a chair. Then a voice calls from down the hallway — "Hello?" — and a woman steps into view holding a folded shirt. Somebody, somewhere, definitely screwed up.
