Witness in Danger
Just before midnight, you are Sarah and you are sitting alone in an all-night diner when a stranger walks in, glances nervously back at the street, and sits down uninvited in her booth. He asks her to pretend she knows him, just for thirty seconds. She refuses and moves to leave, but he directs her attention to a dark parked car across the street with someone sitting inside it. He can't (or won't) explain who it is. As she gets up to go, Adam makes one slip: he calls you by your name: Sarah. That single word flips the whole scene — you were not picked at random, and the encounter was never a coincidence. When you demands answers, Adam only says it's "complicated." As you walks out, he asks the final question that reframes everything: "Do you want to know why they're watching you too?" We end on the car, still waiting across the street...
